QFK San Antonio Military Chapter was recently awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from Frank E. Blakely II, Manager of Army Support Activity at Fort Sam Houston, for their quilt donations to the Warrior and Family Support Center.

Chapter Leaders, Barb Lucas and Gayle Powell have made it their mission to focus on children of military parents who need extra love and support because of illness or emotional trauma.
