A Picture Tells a Story.... (June 2008)
Quilts for Kids recently delivered a bundle of quilted love to New York's Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of New York's Presbyterian. Here are some photos of that delivery.

At left, a smiling young quilt recipient enjoys her colorful new quilt. At right, Quilts for Kids volunteers and founder Linda Arye pose with hospital staff and quilts from the delivery.

At left, Nurse Tony juggles a big stack of quilts to deliver. At right, a young quilt recipient rests peacefully under a bright quilt.
In a Thank You letter from Child Life Specialist Elizabeth Olsen, we learn that the quilts have been distributed in the Hematology, Oncology, Pediatric Intensive Care and Newborn Intensive Care Units where "the quilts especially bring color and tenderness to the many infant isolettes." She notes that the quilts will become the children's "favorite blankets to snuggle with." View the full letter (PDF)
