The tragic natural disaster which recently struck the US Gulf Coast and, in particular, the historic city of New Orleans has left the entire country stunned. We at Quilts for Kids HQ are no exception. So, we've put the resources of our organization to work to bring any relief we can to those left homeless and displaced. Quilts for Kids has the following ongoing efforts underway: FOUR Local Quilts for Kids chapters in areas where displaced Gulf Coast residents have been relocated to shelters have volunteered to serve as direct receiving points for donated quilts and supplies. The chapter leaders have pledged to work tirelessly to ensure that all donated materials are distributed efficiently and appropriately to those in need. Send directly to the following addresses:

The Quilting Circle in Bensalem, PA, has also agreed to open its doors to any other local quilting groups interested in hosting charity quilting events for relief efforts and will also serve as an ongoing collection point for quilts during all regular store hours.
