QFK on Display in Georgia

The Coastal Georgia Quilt Guild has been chosen “Artist of the Month” by the Brunswick Library and invited to display 20 quilts for children.

Georgia Chapter leader, Cheryl Sloan, writes that two chapter members who are also guild members, encouraged the guild to support Quilts for Kids as its adopted charity.  At the end of the month, the quilts on display will come back to the QFK Chapter to be donated to children hospitalized at one of the many facilities in Georgia and north Florida who receive QFK quilts from Cheryl and her 100 generous volunteers.

“My hope is that when people see this wonderful display and learn about Quilts for Kids, “Cheryl relates, “they’ll want to join our chapter and help us get even more quilts out to the kids who need them.”
