Spirited Silicon Valley Chapter Presents 37 Quilts
The fact that "Suzi Claus" is sporting candy canes on her head doesn't slow her down as she ties quilt bundles at the Silicon Valley workshop.
This month QFK Silicon Valley (CA) Chapter was busy bringing comfort to victims of abuse at Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence.
At their regular December 12th workshop from noon to 4:00 p.m. volunteers were busy stitching on labels, rolling each quilt tightly, then tying each with a coordinating ribbon, cord or other trim. A little extra care made the quilts into festive bundles for Next Door Solutions to Domestic Violence. Chapter Leader Bonnie Stearns reports that they presented 37 quilts that same evening at the organization’s annual open house for sponsors and supporters.
