Flood Buddies Comfort Kids

The Bloomsburg University Flood Buddies partnered with the Paxinos (PA) chapter of Quilts For Kids to distribute more than 60 hand-made quilts to the Bloomsburg Area School District students who were left with nothing after this year’s record-breaking, devastating flood, following tropical storm Lee, which drove 100,000 people from their homes. 

Brooke Samsel, a member of the Flood Buddies, enjoys helping the community and thinks highly of the group’s efforts. “Quilts For Kids is an amazing organization whose efforts have provided over 60 quilts for those affected by the flood. This is just another great way to help and will be a necessary donation as we head into the cold winter months.”
