Founding president, Linda Arye, generates enthusiasm for QKF at a Rotary meeting in the Virgin Islands.
Recently, founding president, Linda Arye, traveled to St. Croix, USVI, to help set up a QFK chapter. With several local quilters on board and the Rotary Club willing to pitch in, our hope is that very soon an active chapter will begin contributing comfort quilts to children in need in the US Virgin Islands.
The Caribbean location is not a problem thanks to a Rotarian there who heads up a cargo company; kits, fabric and batting will be easily accessible to volunteer quilters in the islands.
