And the Winner is...

Quilt raffles are an increasingly popular way to raise funds for chapters.  Recently, Cathy Case, chapter leader of Indiana Quilts for Kids, announced the winner of their first raffle, a queen-sized hand-quilted fancy fan.

Dee Dee Anderson!  ...and a delighted winner, indeed.

For the delivery of about 100 quilts!

Thanks for sharing, Cathy Case, of Lafayette, IN!  Look carefully at that middle picture above; it's yellow duckies!  Too cute to leave out.

It's a win-win situation.  You go to SHOP.COM and choose from the best collection of stores you love and the brands and products you can't live without.

It's the most comprehensive shopping site you've ever seen, helping you browse hundreds of stores at once.  And the best part is, many products offer you a cash rebate.

Oh, wait, maybe the best part is that for every dollar you spend at

Quilts for Kids earns royalties.  A percentage of every sale comes to QFK so that you can help the children we serve by buying stuff you need anyway.

Give it a try!

Thanks, Rotary!

What a nice surprise!  Steve Sabel, president-elect of Levittown-Fairless Hills Rotary, stopped by today to personally present founding president, Linda Arye, with a generous donation.

It's very gratifying to know that our community supports Quilts for Kids and our efforts to turn tears into smiles as we comfort children in need.

Comfort and Peace in the Military

Posted by pam on June 24th, 2014

Barb Lucas of our San Antonio Military Chapter sent this adorable photo with a note from this little boy's mom:

"My 3 yr. old received one of your quilts recently at SAMMC (San Antonio Military Medical Center, the largest in-patient facility in the DoD) and it made our day. It was a scary time and your quilt brought us so much comfort and peace. Words cannot begin to express how grateful we are. He loves the quilt and continues to use it daily. Thank you so very much for what you do!"

We are so happy Barb and her tireless volunteers do so much for our military families and their children.  Many thanks to all of you!
